About Springleaf
Springleaf was part of the old Nee Soon Village area, also known as Thong Soon. After the village was cleared, Springleaf Garden, an estate of semi-detached houses, was completed in the late 1980s.
Springleaf Nature Park opened in 2014 along Sungei Seletar. Springleaf MRT on the Thomson–East Coast Line opened on 28 August 2021; its artwork "Tree of Memories" shows local shophouses wrapped by the banyan tree in the nature park.
The area is now getting its first large condo: Springleaf Residence, a 941-unit project by Upper Thomson Road launched in August 2025.
